My website is, and always has been, a work in progress. Once again, I feel the necessity of a redesign, as I am just not happy with how it looks. This, however, tears me in two. Why? Because the part of me that wants the website redesigned is pulling one way, demanding I buckle down and keep at it until the entire site has been completed...and the part of me that love creating-be it textures, art, or (and this is my newest passion) modeling-wants me to spend every minute of every day creating.
The problem is, I know me. If I'm going to do the redesign, I have to commit to working it to completion without being sidetracked, or it will not ever get finished. And as much as I hate to break away from creating, I know that if I get myself involved in a project, I'll slip away from the redesign and it will never ever get finished...just like the last 5 or 6 time's I've tried to do a redesign. But that isn't the worst of it. In reality I need to be able to do some creations, to fill out the balance of what I intended, from the very beginning, for my site to contain.
Content. That all to often misunderstood concept. So, what do I want for the content of my site. Well, I want a store front and a message board to go with it. I want a members area for poser created tubes. I want a section that showcases the immense amount of free stuff I create. I want a gallery to showcase my artwork, and the artwork of others who have utilized my creations. That is a lot of stuff to work through. I kind of have an idea of how I want it to look, so then I have to do the research to make what I want happen. I have to figure out how to set up a password protected area, a message board and a shopping cart.
I guess the only way it's going to happen is if I just do it. So, to those who are custom to seeing me around on a daily basis...I might disappear for a while, until I get all of this done. Wish me luck, say a prayer or two and hopefully I will see you all again real soon!!
God Bless

Osama Bin Laden Sleeps with the Fishes
There has been a lot of chatter since late Sunday night about the death of Public Enemy #1, and while the death of a human is not usually cause for celebration, with the death of this man, even I breathed a sigh of relief. While Al Qaeda still exists, and the threat of retaliation hangs strong over our heads, with the death of their head we've finally struck a victory in the face of the terrible tragedy that was September 11, 2001.
What amazes me about all of it, above and beyond the brave heroics of our Navy Seals and the CIA operatives that were involved in the operation, is the chatter that President Obama is still being criticized and it is being said that he should not take the credit for this...well, let me tell you what my thoughts are. President Obama also acted heroically in this operation. It was him, not anyone else, that had to have the guts to give the go ahead. It could have all blown up in his face, Bin Laden could have not been in that compound, innocents and our own people could have died....a hundred other things could have gone wrong. BUT despite ALL of that, our President made the courageous call to go forward...George W Bush didn't make the call, Barack Obama made the call. I don't care what else you think of the man, if you are so blinded that you cannot see this, there is something seriously wrong,
During his speech late Sunday night, he asked us as American's to remember the unity that we all felt as a country on September 11, 2001. For the first time in my recollection, we finally started acting like the great nation we are on that day, but it was quickly drained away again....And he asked us to go back to that. He asked us to once again form the bonds of unity that are one of the many things that make this country so great.
So I will ask my readership for something that should, as an American, be easy. Please put aside your prejudices, not only against our President, but against all. Let's take this news as a reaffirmation that our country is still a great place to live, and make it so, for all of our fellow citizens.
God Bless the United States of America, God Bless our troops who have fought the long, hard battle for this victory and God Bless you, each and every one.

Black Orchid-Knits and Florals
While most of the world has been focusing on the royal wedding today, I've been hard at work on some brand new textures for Black Orchid (http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/black-orchid?item=12299&_m=d) I've just released 2 of them as freebies as I continue to work on more complex ones for addition to the Fantasies Realm Market
You can get the freebies at ShareCG
I'm sorry to say that I'm no longer using ShareCG as a site for distributing my free textures. From now forward you will be able to find any of my freebies on my Deviant Art page. See link on the right. Thank You

Welcome
Hello
Welcome to Me, Myself and Oh, My!!! The intention of this blog is to keep interested parties apprised of updates to my various online graphics offerings and to add some musings about the state of the world in the eyes of a decidedly Old Fashioned Woman.
I'm a self taught graphics artist who has spend much of the last 2 decades creating 2D graphics across the internet. When I started, I created website graphics and soon learned to create websites. As the years progressed, my focus changed to various other forms of 2D computer graphics including Incredimail Stationary, signature tags and more. While I still create custom 2D computer graphics, in the last year I've started focusing more on the 3D graphics world. To my immense surprise and delight, I have found that much of my skill in 2D graphics has lent it's self to my being able to create textures for 3D objects and clothing. In the last month, I've finally made the jump and the first of my offerings has gone into a store and is now for sale. You can find my offerings for sale at the Fantasies Realm Market, where all of my items are exclusive. You will not find me selling at any other store out there. To me it is a loyalty thing. The folks at the Fantasies Realm Market gave me a chance to show what I could do, and helped me along in the process.
One of my most stringent, decidedly "Old Fashioned" value's is loyalty. I feel that when someone has gone out of their way to give you a chance, and has gone above and beyond to give you assistance, then they deserve your loyalty. I hold this true whether it be a store, as in this case, or a person. Anyone whom I have given the title of friend knows that my loyalty knows no bounds.
And so, in this debut posting to Me, Myself and Oh My!!! you have learned just a little about who I am. It is my hope that in the coming weeks and months, you will learn more about who I am and that you will like what you read enough to stick around to learn more.
As I sign off, I will give you one more glimpse into who I am as a person...there is no one who means more to me than the good Lord above....
And with that, I wish you all God's blessings.
